RaZberry turns your Raspberry Pi into a Z-Wave enabled smart home gateway. There are three parts:

1.RaZberry Z-Wave hardware shield that is plugged on top of the Raspberry Pi 2. Raspberry Pi (works with all Raspberry Pi type A, B, B+, 2, Zero and 3) 3. Z-Wave controller software running on the Raspberry Pi itself.

Our Raspberry Pi Cards come with Z-Way Home Automation Software License built on them so its extremely easy getting started.

Note: The RaZberry works with all third party Z-Wave software supporting Sigma Serial API. The transceiver firmware communicates with the Z-Way communication stack using the serial interface /dev/ttyAMA0. The Z-Way communication protocol stack organizes and manages the Z-Wave network and its devices and offers a simple to use and simple to understand User Interfaces hiding most of the complexity of the Z-Wave wireless network. The Z-Way API allows to write own Applications and Designs on top of the stable Z-Way protocol stack. The Application Programmers Interface to do this is documented and can be used without any Non Disclosure Agreement Restrictions
