5 Pack Zwave Starter Kit
Includes:
- 1 Master Timer
- 2 x Zwave
Lamp Modules
- 5 Home Settings Wireless Kit
With the HomeSettings lighting control starter kit, you can experience all the benefits of home automation for a fraction of the cost. This kit gets you started on Z-Wave lighting control, so you can manage multiple lights and appliances in and around your home. By using Radio Frequency (RF) technology, Z-Wave components require no wiring, and since each module includes a repeater function, adding more modules to your Z-Wave network actually improves the system's reliability. The Z-Wave Starter Kit includes a master controller and two lamp modules, everything you'll need to start your radio-frequency network.
In case of emergency, the master remote's ALL ON/ALL OFF buttons can warn would-be intruders away, and the integrated timing functions offer a variety of options. Set the Astronomic feature and you'll never have to reset the timer for day-to-day changes in sunrise and sunset times, or take advantage of multiple time options. These options include programming possibilities that will set your lights all week, 5 days, weekends, or individual days. Or, before you leave on vacation, activate the random timing option to give your home a lived-in look. There's even an automatic Daylight Savings Time function.
The master remote is easy to set up, with an attractive design which blends into any decor; you can set it on a table or mount it on a wall, whichever is most convenient. It controls up to 12 channels at once, and each channel controls up to 16 devices.
HomeSettings uses advanced Z-Wave technology -- a wireless mesh network that delivers reliable control of countless applications throughout your home. This outstanding system was voted Best Emerging Tech by the editors at CNET magazine in 2006; and it's exactly the sort of home protection measure that's recommended by the Burglary Prevention Council.
