Wireless USB Controllers
ASPIRE RF™ USB Homeowner Controller (RFUSB) and USB Installer Controller (RFUSB-PRO)
can be used for programming and configuration of a Cooper Wiring Devices’ Z-Wave®
network when utilizing a PC and included software. The USB controllers are used as a
wireless controller to control and configure devices (dimmers, switches, receptacles, plug-in
modules and accessory devices), scenes, events and system settings. One controller, known
as the Primary, is required per each Z-Wave network but multiple controllers can be used
in the network as Secondary controllers. ASPIRE RF offers users the following choices of
Z-wave compliant controllers: Handheld (RFHDCSG), Tabletop (RFTDCSG), USB (RFUSB
or RFUSB-PRO) or SD Card (RFMCC).
Each USB controller includes: USB stick, extension cord, Quick Guide and control software CD.

• Controls your network from any Laptop or Desktop computer using
USB port and Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Not compatible with
Apple computers.
• Controls ASPIRE RF devices and other manufacturer’s Z-Wave
compliant devices.
• Able to Include/Exclude and configure up to 231 Devices
• Simple user-interface guides user step by step through any
chosen function on screen
• Create and edit scenes and transfer them to Wall Mount Scene
Controllers (RFWDC)
• Create, edit and schedule events
• Replicate function allows user to duplicate information from
one controller to another.
• Provides access to Version information, Reset, Network Discovery
and Get Name and Location functions
• Device Status feature allows the user to determine each devices’
current status (e.g. Switch = On) in the network
• Create elaborate events for group of lights or individual devices
using time-delay features
• Uses 200 Series Z-wave chip @ 40kb transmission rate
• Z-Wave Compliant Certified
• Astronomical Timeclock (enter location by longitude and latitude
or by selecting city)
